How to Prepare for Upsell
Step 1 - Make sure she is Happy
Do Profile Cleanup, Tx Data Cleanup check & Tx Progress check – making sure they are on track and happy
Eg Received 3 Tx and at 50% or more hair gone.
Step 2 - Get Wish List and make a Quote Sheet
Read ALL previous contact logs. Start from oldest page to newest. On an average, there are 3 pages to read.
Especially study -
Using Price list, convert these wish list area(s) into Quote sheet with Package price and 18mo Price
In addition to the above, always ASK the client what her wish list is and quickly convert it to a quote sheet
When client comes in – now you know she is happy and you have a quote sheet to discuss with her
Step 3 - Upsell Conversation
Step 1 - Make sure she is Happy

- Create a Contact Log = for Wish list/Quote sheet and assign yourself a followup for 1 day before their next Tx so it will show as Red Alert on your dashboard.
- Update Appointment 'Notes' = on the Appointment screen from the Schedule TAB or Appointment TAB
When client comes in – now you know she is happy and you have a quote sheet to discuss with her
Step 3 - Upsell Conversation
- First - Get great RESULTS!
- Discuss PAIN = Her Concerns eg Sick & tired of shaving. Feel insecure and self conscious about her appearance.
- Discuss PLEASURE = Praise her current progress and emphasize the Benefits she is experiencing from current Treatments
- Show Before and After Photos
- Show Hair Free Photos
How to Upsell a Groupon Treatment
So this is a groupon client that did not buy when she first came in. ie No Sale Groupon Consult.
She is here to receive 6 treatment on a small area.
During her initial consultation, she mentioned other area(s) of interest (wish list) but would like to try this small area first
