Follow Up Sequence
What is a follow up sequence?
When you enter a new lead (a prospect) or discuss upsale with a patient, contact log the discussion and plan of action and always setup a follow up date for you until they attend consult and buy.
Your follow up sequence should end with a contact log that says consult (or Upsell) sold.
When you setup follow up date, it will show up on the dashboard.
For Upsell - WHERE TO BEGIN update f/u sequence
Begin at the dashboard.
Everyday – check your Dashboard and call all your dashboard follow ups and update your contact log again with a note and follow up date. Continue to update the contact log until you close a sale. When you close the sale, you can ‘close’ the contact log too by clicking the check box ‘follow up complete’.
How to START a f/u sequence
For New Leads - Enter as taught in MB training and always check profile again for 100% accuracy. Then click contact log and start the ‘follow up sequence’
For Upsells – start at the Dashboard
Topic – Sale
Contact Method – in-person
Assigned to - Your name again
Note - ‘Quote given. LHR-full legs $3000 with 50% off = $1500 which is $65/mo x 24 months. She will talk to husband. Will follow up in 2 days.
F/U date – 1-5-2011
eg of your contact log for New Lead after entering the lead in MB today – (need to write this)
How to UPDATE the f/u sequence
Then in 2 days, you called and she said she talked to her husband and will let you know next week. Do the following –
Note - Spoke with pt. she talked with her husband and she will decide next week. Will f/u in 1 week
f/u date – updated to 1-12-2011
Eg of your new comment
Called pt. She spoke with husband and is interested to buy before the month is over. Will check again on 25th. (Your contact log follow up date should be 25th)
Then on the 25th
You called her and she came in and purchased.
Update your contact log and check the box ‘follow up complete’
Eg of your new comment (click ‘add new comment’ to the same contact log you started)
Pt came in and purchased LHR-full legs.
Since this sale is made. You can then check the box ‘follow up complete’
How to ‘CLOSE’ the follow up sequence
Now that you closed the sale, you can check the box ‘follow up complete’
Click ‘add new comment’ an type eg – Called pt as planned and she came in today and purchased LHR-full legs.
Now check the box

- Every new lead must be contact logged with follow up sequence until they ATTEND a consult and BUY
- Every upsale must be contact logged with follow up sequence until they BUY

- Choose a right topic (eg Sales, medical etc). DO NOT leave blank note
- Choose contact method (eg in person etc)
- Choose assigned to – your name (unless you assign it to another staff member)
- Then type your note in the body of the contact log
- Choose a follow up date. DO NOT leave blank
- DO NOT check the box ‘follow up complete’ unless you close the sale
- i.e. this box should be checked off only if your last note says – sale made. Eg “pt purchased LHR-Braz ext”
Topic – Sale
Contact Method – in-person
Assigned to - Your name again

- Update the follow up date again
- Always choose the same contact log for the same topic of sale
- DO NOT start a new contact log for the same conversation so your discussion remains in 1 place.
- You can have multiple ‘sales’ contact logs only if they are for different sales.
Then in 2 days, you called and she said she talked to her husband and will let you know next week. Do the following –
- Click ‘add new comment’ to the same contact log you started
- Update the follow up date again to 7 days
Note - Spoke with pt. she talked with her husband and she will decide next week. Will f/u in 1 week
